Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) has earned the 2024 UFI Sustainable Development Award for “Best Practices in 2024.” Announced officially 2 July, the award shows BITEC’s progress in sustainability at a global level.
The UFI Awards program has been recognizing best practices and achievements in the global exhibition industry since 2011. This year’s theme was “Best example of sustainability integration into business proposals” with the objective of celebrating examples of business propositions aimed at fostering sustainable practices across clients.
BITEC’s recognition highlights its effort to include sustainability in its business model. The venue has strong Sustainable Event Management standards, showing its commitment to the environment, community, and social responsibility.
